Ian Linaker is the CEO of Galileo Watermark. Ian left his senior leadership role at one of the big four consultancy firms to follow his dream of bringing disruptive innovation to the aviation market.
Ian’s consultancy experience leading strategic reviews and business turnaround projects across the UK, USA and Europe gave him the grounding needed to set up cosmetic brand, Scaramouche + Fandango as a market test to deliver disruption to the industry. After leading S+F to rapid growth in retail with listings in premium retailers such as John Lewis, Selfridges, Harvey Nichols and Barney’s and Bloomingdale’s in the US, Ian turned his attention to the aviation market.
Ian’s no-compromise approach to design, customer service and quality meant that S+F branded amenities and cosmetics were quickly snapped up by world leading carriers such as Etihad Airways. In 2016, Ian lead the Private Equity backed acquisition of Watermark, one of the oldest and most respected airline suppliers in the industry. Combined, the new business has quickly become one of the market leaders across the hospitality industry.
